The opening ceremony of the baseline survey of illiterates aged 15-45 years, surveyors’ orientation and project openings was held at Zakiganj Upazila Auditorium of Sylhet district on July 31, 2019.

Mr. Alhaj Md. Lokman Uddin Chowdhury, Upazila Chairman, Jakiganj Upazila was present as the chief guest at the event organized by the Implementing Development Organization Association of Workers for Alternative Rural Development-Award. Mr. Haji Md. Khalil Uddin, Mayor, Jakiganj Municipality, Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Bhuiyan, Assistant Director, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Sylhet, Upazila Assistant Education Officer, Mr. Dheerandra Ratan, were present as special guests. Mr. Mawlana Abdus Sabur, Upazila Vice Chairman, Mr. Haji Mostakim Ali Haider, Former Upazila Vice Chairman.

In addition, 6 union council chairmen, 12 UP members, 5 municipal councilors and 90 surveyors participated in the program.
